1. www.uman.com.au(the Website) is owned and operated by UMan Recruitment Pty Ltd A.B.N. 19 003 635 050 (UMan).
2. The purpose of “the Website” is to provide a Platform where employers and job seekers within the Security and Fire Industries can come together in a secure and confidential way and satisfy their employment needs with or without a recruitment consultant.
3. By using “the Website” the user agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
4. As a Job Seeker or Employer you can search “the Website” and make some enquires about candidates or job ads but to access the full functionalities of “the Website’ and for “UMan” to fully process the user’s request the user will need to register and agree to a different set of terms and conditions accessible upon registration.
5. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between “UMan” and the user.
6. “The Website” is provided "as is" and “UMan” assume no responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, mis-delivery of or failure to store any user content or settings.
7. The user agrees to allow “UMan” to store and use the personal details and information collected during the user’s use of “the Website” and registration to provide the user’s service requests as set out in the Privacy Policy.
8. Our Privacy Policy forms part of these terms and conditions.
9. The user acknowledges that “UMan” may or may not pre-screen content, but that “UMan” shall have the right (but not the obligation) in our sole discretion to pre-screen, refuse, edit or move any content.
10. The user’s content will not impersonate any person or entity.
11. The user’s content will not include anything it does not have the right to make available under any applicable law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements) or infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any party or contain software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware.
12. The user understands that all content posted on “the Website” are the user’s sole responsibility whether the user upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make it available via “the Website”. “UMan” does not control such content posted by others on “the Website”. The user understands that by using “the Website” the user may be exposed to content that is objectionable or illegal in the user’s jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will “UMan” be liable in any way for any content, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted or otherwise made available via “the Website”.
13. ‘PayZone’ provides information on pay and benefits that is contributed by users.
14. The user will need to register to access PayZone.
15. All remuneration data on “the Website” is owned by “UMan” and publishing this data outside of “the Website” is strictly prohibited.
16. These terms and conditions are in effect as of 1St January 2016. “UMan” reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time without notice. The user acknowledges and agrees that it is the user’s responsibility to review these terms and conditions periodically to familiarize yourself with any modifications. The user’s continued use of “the Website” after such modifications will constitute acknowledgment and agreement of the modified terms and conditions.
17. “UMan” won’t be held liable for any delays or failure in performance of any part of “the Website” from any cause beyond “UMan” control.
18. Any leniency, indulgence or extension of time granted by “UMan” from time to time shall not constitute a waiver of these terms and conditions or prejudice any of “UMan” rights.
19. If any clause or part clause of these terms and conditions shall for any reason be declared or become unenforceable, invalid or illegal or otherwise incapable of enforcement for any reason whatsoever, that clause or part clause shall be deemed to be severed from these terms and conditions and of no force and effect, but all other clauses and parts of clauses shall nevertheless prevail and remain in full force and effect and be valid and fully enforceable and no clause or part clause shall be construed to be dependent upon any other clause or part clause unless so expressed herein.
20. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales in Australia in force for the time being.
