Position Overview:
The company is actively seeking an Electrician | Dry Fire Technician to join their dedicated team. The company is offering a full-time position, mainly with work hours from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the potential for overtime. In this role, you will be provided with a company uniform and a manual work UTE to support you in your daily tasks.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications and criteria:
- Current QBCC License, Trade Qualified
- Proficiency in Installation, Programming, Commissioning, and Maintenance of Fire Alarm & Detection Systems
- Experience with Installation & Maintenance of Gaseous Systems (highly desired)
- Proven field service experience with troubleshooting, testing, and repair capabilities
- Strong knowledge of applicable Australian standards (AS1851, AS1670, & AS4428)
- Ability to maintain emergency and exit lighting
- A commitment to workplace safety
- Excellent time management and independent work capabilities
- Trustworthy, reliable, and punctual
- Effective communication skills with customers and colleagues
- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test
- Industry experience (highly desired)
Responsibilities:
As an Electrician | Fire Alarm Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Installation, Programming, Commissioning, and Maintenance of Fire Alarm & Detection Systems
- Experience with Installation & Maintenance of Gaseous Systems (if applicable)
- On-site callouts, troubleshooting, testing, and repair
- Quoting and scoping for upcoming projects
- Identifying Issues and Non-Conformances, adhering to relevant Australian standards
- Emergency and Exit Light Maintenance and Installation
- Adherence to company safety policies and procedures
- Independent and efficient time management
- Professional communication with clients and colleagues
- Compliance with mandatory Pre-Employment Gladstone 3 site medical requirements
