SECURITY TECHNICIAN
full time Security Technician who is:
• An enthusiastic go getter who their friends and classmates would turn to for all the technical solutions,
• Someone who is tech savvy and is fascinated about how electronics/computers work and isn’t afraid to pull them apart or fix them,
• Willingness to learn new tasks and not afraid to ask questions,

The successful applicant will commit to important licensing requirements and have no restriction to acquiring:
• An ACMA structured Cabling licence in accordance with statutory requirements
• New South Wales & Victorian Security Licence
• Police Check
• Driver’s licence
• Working with Children Check
• Work Health & Safety White Card
• Covid vaccinations
• Flu vaccinations
A desirable applicant will/or have:
• Experience in Electronic Security Systems,
• Experience with IP networking,
• Experience working with Tecom/Gallagher/Innerange or similar competency,
• Experience with performing service and maintenance,
• Experience and understanding of hand tools,
• Have basic knowledge of Maths and English,
• Competency with Microsoft Office suite of programs,
• Aptitude and desire to learn, particularly in I.T Systems,
• Understanding of electronic equipment and design,
• Or other technical industry e.g. telecommunications/electronics
Will be required to:
• Perform Service including troubleshooting and Maintenance of a wide range of Electronic Security Systems
• Assist and support the install team with installation, testing, commissioning of security, access control, intruder detection systems and CCTV systems on commercial construction projects and residential properties,
• Communicate regularly with clients on service issues,
• Fault finding, upgrades and commissioning,
• Report and escalate any issues to senior management as required.
