Over a period of 6 years I worked casually as a sound recordist and general production  
assistant for ABC TV in Launceston. This involved carrying out duties as a sound recordist for  
a remote news crew, who covered the northern part of the state. Being art of this team  
gave me experience in television plus satellite transfer of footage from remote locations.

I have also had vast experience in video editing, with the operation of linear and non-linear  
editing systems such as Sony Betacam and Avid digital systems. Cameras I am experienced  
with include Sony SP Betacam, Panasonic DVC Pro, Sony DV Cam and most consumer  
models.
